3+ Construction Solicitor to join Tier 1 & Chambers-ranked international Top 50 Bristol firm as an Associate
Leading the market with the most established Professional Negligence team in Bristol, and following ongoing investment, a talented Solicitor is required for the nine Partner team.
The construction arm of the Professional Negligence team acts for the majority of leading professional indemnity insurers across the London and Companies Markets, advising architects, engineers, surveyors, D&B contractors and property managers in defending professional negligence claims.
Claims often involve complex contractual, technical and factual issues with large sums at stake. The team is particularly experienced in alternative dispute resolution and tend to conduct mediations and adjudications without the assistance of Counsel.
In addition to advising insurers and construction professionals about the defence of claims, you will provide coverage advice to insurers and monitor matters principally for design and build contractor insureds. Claims value varies and often exceeds seven figures.
