The role

This firm is seeking to hire an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their flourishing West End, London office.

The private client department deals with an excellent quality of work, quite often for HNW individuals with sometimes more complex matters that involve overseas assets.

You will work with a close-knit team; the team are friendly, supportive and professional. You will be the most senior fee earner in the private client department, and they are currently busy. You will have the autonomy to make the role your own but equally will have good support from the other Partners within the firm.

The caseload will include, but not be limited to; Wills, probates, estates, trusts, tax advice and some court of protection matters. International experience or experience in advising off-shore clients would be desirable, as well as STEP qualification.

Requirements

• You will be a Private Client Solicitor with 7+ years of post-qualification
• STEP qualified or in the process of the qualification is very attractive
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential
• Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is to advantage but is not essential
• Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your background and level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
