Family Paralegal required by an established law firm based in the Black Country. Since they opened over 100 years ago, they have grown significantly, opening multiple offices across multiple locations. Due to continued growth, they now require a family paralegal to join their busy team working closely under the Head of Private Family Matters.
A well-established law firm, they are leaders within the Birmingham legal market. They pride themselves on their culture, which they have worked extremely hard to achieve and quite often host company events and encourage members of the team to get involved in networking opportunities across the region.
As a Family Paralegal working in a busy and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for supporting the team and running your own family caseload. A normal day could include:
- Maintaining files.
- Dealing with all client enquiries effectively.
- Drafting court applications and documents.
- Providing exemplary client care.
- Briefing counsel.
The successful Family Paralegal will have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a family department. You must have experience in drafting court applications and briefing counsel as well as maintaining files. Your will be able to provide excellent client care and communicate with a number of different parties and will have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Whilst the role is fully remote for the time being, you will also be in a commutable distance from Dudley.
