LAW Absolute is recruiting to a Prosecutions Lawyer role with a Local Authority based in London. The role is for an initial three-month contract on a full-time basis.

Our client is seeking a Prosecutions Lawyer with experience handling a full and varied local government caseload and therefore previous public sector experience is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload of planning prosecutions, tenancy fraud, non-school attendance, fly tipping, health & safety, and trading standards. You will be required to work without the need for supervision and be able to handle a caseload of approximately 20 cases.

The local authority offers a good working environment, a varied and interesting caseload, and a supportive team. This is a remote working role, but you will need to attend the office on your first day and there may be a requirement to attend the office during the initial assignment on an ad hoc basis.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be available on no more than two weeks’ notice.

To be considered for the role, please send a copy of your updated CV

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.
