The team in which the role is based is headed by a market leading practitioner within the area of professional indemnity defence matters. The new joiner will benefit from working directly with this Partner on a range of matters including defending claims against a range of legal, construction, finance and architectural professionals. There is also scope for the group to expand the range of claims that they are instructed on as they seek to develop and further grow their London offering. The team has a strong work flow so there will be ample opportunity for a new joiner to jump right into fee earning matters straight away.

The team are looking for an associate that has experience, either during their training or their subsequent post qualification experience, of working on the defence side of professional indemnity claims. Such a candidate will be coming from a ranked insurance practice or, potentially, a boutique that specialises in such claims. The firm offers a competitive salary package, the chance to join one of the fastest growing insurance focused law firms in the UK and, in comparison with other City practices, a forgiving work/life balance.

I appreciate the decision to pursue external roles is an important one. If you would like a no obligation call (with no CV required initially) then please do reach out to Michael Madigan or send an email
The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
