A leading South Coast law firm that acts for a diverse range of commercial and private clients across the country are seeking to recruit an additional member into their established Real Estate team. The team in Southampton forms apart of a wider team located at several locations across The South including a team based in London. The position in Southampton provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career with the support of long established partners and work with a team of solicitors, associates and senior associates.
The team are looking for an ambitious solicitor (or qualified equivalent). Ideally you would have experience in the range of 0-3 years PQE and already with a background in commercial property transactional work. In broad terms the role will see you advise on the law surrounding general commercial real estate issues, with further focus on Landlord & Tenant matters, recoveries advice to banks and receivers and sales/purchases of commercial property.
You will manage your own case load with close supervision and support from the partners and team as a whole. There will be a good deal of client engagement, both advising clients in person and in writing, drafting of client documentation including completion statements and Land Registry applications and SDLT Returns and dealing with new enquiries.
The firm offer a competitive remuneration package along with flexible working, including remote working due to the current covid environment as well as generally a sensible outlook on flexibility and work life balance. There is a strong focus on career development with a good track record of individuals making good progress into senior positions.
