Credit Controller (part-time)

Credit Controller (part-time) - Herne Bay, Kent

A long established law firm with offices throughout Kent are seeking an experienced Credit Controller (ideally with legal experience) to join them in Herne Bay.

Reporting to the Debt Recovery Manager, your role will be collect outstanding monies from the firms clients as well as assisting the accounts team. Duties will include:
- Liaise with fee earners on overdue bills, completing agreed actions and ensuring that accurate
records are kept;
- Send statements to clients and, if requested, summary of costs breakdown
- Send out reminder letters and seven day letters to clients; passing to Debt Recovery Manager
for recovery where necessary
- Log cheques on arrival and notify relevant fee earners accordingly
- Process credit card payments and notify fee earner and Accounts team accordingly
- Assist with calculating and administering instalment payments made by standing order
- Update the Debtors List and report to the Debt Recovery Manager on a regular basis
In the absence of the Debt Recovery Manager, deal with the bills aged report

You must be an experienced Credit Controller, ideally with experience gained in a law firm, however this is not essential.

On offer is a competitive salary c£21,000 FTE (c£12,600 for 3 days p/w).
