Conveyancing Assistant
Stockport
A new role has arisen with an award winning and Regional UK Law Firm for a Conveyancing Assistant to sit within their Stockport office.
Due to expansion, their conveyancing department becoming increasingly busy and therefore, the firm is looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Conveyancing Assistant.
Main Duties:
· Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written
correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and
assistance
· Be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
· Keep the case management system and any third-party web sites up to date in real
time
· Ensure our clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at
times
· Prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process
· Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion
statements and invoices
· Deal with post exchange matters as directed by your team manager
· Be responsible for completions on the day of completion
· Any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should
the need arise
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience within a conveyancing assistant role, ideally of supporting conveyancing fee earners.
- Experience of independently completing searches and filing documents.
