About the Legal Advisor role

This is an exciting opportunity for a charity lawyer with general commercial experience to  join a small legal team and make a real difference to the lives of people affected by dementia.

Working with the Legal Manager and the wider legal team, you will provide legal advice and support on range of legal matters to internal clients and stakeholders across the Society.

About you

We are looking for a likeminded team player who has proven charity experience gained either in-house or in a law firm, with strong general commercial contract experience who is genuinely passionate about applying their legal skills to a team that is undergoing change. The successful candidate for this Legal Advisor role will have several years post qualification experience as a qualified lawyer and hold a practicing certificate. There will be an opportunity to contribute to new initiatives and ways of working. You will be advising on key areas of risk and carrying out general legal work as required. You may be allocated specific legal specialisms, or areas of the business to support.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to  work well under pressure and manage your workload effectively. The work is always varied and challenging.
