Residential Conveyancer, Hampshire
My client is a high profile firm that is looking to strengthen their residential conveyancing department with the appointment of an experienced fee earner in a close knit team.
You could be a qualified solicitor or legal executive, a licensed conveyancer, or an experienced paralegal who can handle their own busy caseload and progress files from start through to post completion.
The firm enjoy a good market presence and have their own networks although some gentle forms of marketing and networking always help secure sources of work.
The work involves freehold and leasehold conveyancing, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new-build, and shared ownership.
Good communication skills are essential, and candidates will be required to communicate regularly with clients for instructions and to give advice.
You will need to expedite transactions and to respond swiftly to enquiries, draft documents, research details about properties being bought or sold and undertake all work associated with the exchange, completion and post-completion of properties, including registration.
The ideal candidate's technical knowledge will be good and excellent communication skills are a must. You will ideally have knowledge of case management systems, and an ability to use online systems such as those used for SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications etc.
You should be able to work self-sufficiently and have good computer skills.
Applications from relocators will be considered however you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the South Dorset area.
There is a wide range on the salary guidance advertised. This is because the post is open to people at different levels of qualification. Salary negotiable based upon experience. A range of perks and benefits will also be available.
