We have been asked by a long established LEXCEL accredited law firm in York to assist them in the recruitment of an additional Private Client Solicitor. This is a full-time, permanent role.

The Firm

Having spoken to the Head of Private Client at length, it is clear this firm has been rock-solid through lockdown and is very well placed to continue their upward trajectory through 2021 and beyond.

Your New Role

The Private Client Solicitor will join a firm that has a first-rate reputation in the region for providing wills and estate planning advice. The work the team delivers includes:

• Will drafting
• Trusts
• Care of the elderly
• Some tax planning
• Probate and estate administration etc

About You

Although there is some flexibility, the Head of Department is keen to recruit a Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE who can offer a broad spectrum of private client services. Having said that, a Solicitor with more or less PQE will be given consideration.

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 - £60,000 per annum, excellent benefits, a collegiate team environment and career progression makes this an opportunity not to be missed by any Private Client Solicitor with appropriate experience.

When normality resumes our client will be embracing flexible working, with a split of 2 days at home and 3 days in the office available. On that basis, they are keen to consider applicants outside the local area.
