Quality & Risk Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Quality & Risk Manager (QRM) to lead key projects and change initiatives in their team. This position has emerged in response to increasing regulatory requirements for a large and growing firm. Your duties as the QRM will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Managing key projects and change initiatives
• Managing a team of five people, so proven people management skills are needed
• Supporting the head of the team in the implementation of processes for the identification, evaluation and mitigation of significant risks.
• Managing the monitoring framework which is being developed in response to the International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM1)
• Maintain and test the business continuity plan

To be successful in this position you will need to point towards strong experience and knowledge of the regulations and regulatory environment for a financial services organisation. Solid technical expertise in the areas of risk management and compliance are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills will also be needed.
