A leading international law firm, which has an open, friendly and supportive environment, is looking to hire a Data Privacy Lawyer for a full-time, 6-month contract role in London.
The Role
You will be joining a data privacy team which leads on complex stand-alone privacy matters and provides expert input and support on non-run-of-the mill data privacy questions that arise in other practice areas across the firm.
Key responsibilities of the Data Privacy Lawyer will include:
- Advising on standalone data privacy matters, including GDPR compliance projects.
- Working on data breaches.
- Advising on aspects of M&A, JVs, outsourcing and investigations.
- Involvement in designing and delivering client and internal training.
About You
With 1-3 PQE and strong academics, you should have data privacy knowledge whether as a specialism or from within another practice area, along with the ability to draft and negotiate contractual provisions as well as good research skills.
Available at relatively short notice, you will be looking to join a collegiate team which handles an interesting and wide range of data protection matters.
