Contentious Probate & Trusts Solicitor - NQ-4 Years PQE - Wiltshire
Our highly regarded private practice client is now seeking to add further strength and depth to it’s Contentious Private client team.
The team advises charities, individuals and professionals. They one of the most highly ranked teams in the UK, with rankings in Chambers, Chambers HNW, Legal500 and the Top 3,000 Charities directory (as one of the top two legal advisers to charities in the UK).
They advise on the full range of issues that arise in relation to an estate or trust from one-off questions to fully contested litigation involving multi-million pound estates. Their work includes challenges to the validity of a will, Inheritance Act claims, proprietary estoppel claims, claims for the repayment of lifetime gifts and international issues.
Competencies
The successful candidate will:
have a strong litigation background;
have some contentious trust or probate experience;
have undertaken or be willing to undertake the ACTAPS Course;
display a positive attitude, be self-sufficient and flexible;
be analytical, conscientious and attentive to detail;
have good communication skills;
be commercially aware;
be willing to participate in the firm’s business development activities; and
enjoy working as part of a team.
