SENIOR CONTRACT MANAGER - GLOBAL LEADER - POWER AND TECHNOLOGY

Our client is an industry leader handling cutting-edge power, technology and clean energy projects for their international customers. They continue to grow despite the current climate.  

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial contract manager. 

Based in Bulgaria, Hungary or Romania this role will take the lead on contractual affairs and customer negotiations across the region.

The role demands a senior profile with well-developed CM skills to influence and drive company projects.

Applicants must have a hands-on approach, legal background, extensive full-cycle CM experience within an MNC environment and a demonstrable ability to build effective business relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying business objectives of direct sales / licensing / consulting transactions, related issues, and facilitates risk/benefit analysis.
• Review, draft and negotiate supply/delivery agreements, consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms and amendments for customers located in different countries mainly in English
• Drive contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contract execution. Manage contract change control process and related correspondence requiring legal input.
• Mentor and train more junior contract professionals.
• Work directly with business stakeholders
• Support the businesses lawyers on sales-related projects.

Desired experience includes:

• Legal qualification
• 5+ years relevant CM experience  
• Fluent in English plus local languages
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills   
• Energy, power & automation, heavy industrial, construction projects experience.
