RTA Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RTA Paralegal to join a national Legal 500 ranked firm within their Personal Injury department in Manchester City Centre. 

The Role: 

The successful candidate will be joining the RTA team in the firm’s Personal Injury department. The role will involve supporting their RTA Fee Earners with their caseloads. Your duties will be including but are not limited to: 

• Drafting of client and witness statements 
• Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel 
• Preparing court documents
• Reviewing and collating medical records 
• Reviewing medical reports 
• Researching case law on liability and quantum 
• Liaising with clients and updating on case progress
• Preparing court bundles
• Dealing with billing and disbursement payments 
• Administrative duties 

Person Specifics: 

• Experience within a similar role
• Relevant legal qualifications advantageous e.g. LL.B/LPC/GDL/etc 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
