Senior Property Solicitor

A leading international commercial law firm is looking for a talented Property Solicitor at Senior Associate or Legal Director level to join their team based in Manchester for a full-time, permanent role.

This is a national Real Estate group working across teams in London, Manchester, and Liverpool. It is a large team with a full range of experience from trainee to 6 highly respected Partners.

Your New Role

The Manchester core property team has a diverse range of clients including national operators in the logistics, automotive and retail sectors; property developers and investors; FCA registered friendly societies; and many more.

As a Senior Property Solicitor, you will work directly with the National Head of Real Estate. You will develop your own relationships and ultimately become a trusted adviser to the team's clients.

You will advise a broad range of clients, including occupiers, property developers, owners and financiers, on matters including:

• Acquisitions and disposals of investment property - including sale and lease-back transactions.
• Negotiation of leases and associated landlord and tenant documents (acting for both landlords and tenants).
• Acquisition of sites for development, negotiating development and funding agreements, dealing with disposals of development sites to investors.
• Supervising junior colleagues on property portfolio management including licences, consents and granting of underleases.
• Overseeing junior colleagues reviewing, reporting and advising on title matters.
• Advising on heads of terms.
• Providing property support to other teams within the firm such as Corporate and Insolvency and Restructuring.

About You

Applications are sought from Senior Associate and Partner level Solicitors who demonstrate:

• A wealth of experience in property / real estate law.
• Experience in the industrial/logistics sector is an advantage, but not essential.
• Desire to take on a leading role in the practice and be the first point of contact for clients.
• The ability to develop the practice's client base.

Salary & Benefits
