Our client, an international FTSE company is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join them on a 6 month contract to start as soon as possible. This role is inside IR35The main focus of the role is supporting the team on drafting and negotiating joint development service agreements and technology licensing agreements with suppliers. The role will also involve identifying and mitigating legal risk in proposed commercial arrangements, advising on the escalation and resolution of disputes.
Due to the intellectual property focus, they are looking for an experienced IP lawyer or commercial lawyer with demonstrable experience of handling patents and technology licensing issues.
You will be expected to have at least 8 years of experience in commercial law (English qualified or common law system) with a track record of working on complex licensing and commercial agreements
