The Role
A well-established multi-office law firm are currently seeking a Legal Compliance Officer to join their team. This role will involve assisting and supporting the team by undertaking a range of tasks which underpin the risk and compliance strategy.
Requirements
To be considered of the role of Legal Compliance Officer you must have similar experience within a law firm and experience in the following:
* Work with Finance and Management team to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditations
* Plan and undertake firm-wide documented file review procedures
* Report Department reviews and trends to compliance meetings, recommending improvements in procedures
* Manage, maintain and update any Office Procedures Manual
* Previous experience in a compliance and auditing role
* Proactive individual willing to challenge existing procedures
* Experience of SRA Accounts Rules and Anti-Money Laundering is desirable
