We are working with a respected Top 100 Firm who are looking to bring on board a Planning Lawyer with upwards of 5 years' PQE for a fixed term contract of at least 3 months in duration.
The team works with a range of private and public sector clients to include developers, investment funds, airports, rail operators, start-ups, schools and universities, banks, charities, affordable housing providers and local authorities.
The successful individual will be involved in a range of contentious and non-contentious Town & Country Planning matters to include judicial review challenges; drafting and negotiating complex section 106 and highways agreement negotiations; conducting planning due diligence on real estate and corporate matters; providing planning advice on matters involving heritage issues and advising on compulsory purchase matters and planning objections.
Candidates are likely to have upwards of 5 years' PQE obtained within notable planning teams and be available at short notice or immediately.
Candidates who are qualified within England & Wales as well as other commonwealth jurisdictions (such as New Zealand and Australia, for example) are encouraged to apply.
In order to be considered, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with a current Practising Certificate, or qualification within another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand and Australian, for instance).
- Ideally 5+ years' PQE in handling a varied Planning Law caseload.
- Experience gained within notable planning teams within the City or regionally.
- A positive, can-do attitude, and a commitment to delivering the best service for clients.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team.
Candidates will be able to work remotely but should be based within the UK.
Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, candidates should ideally be available immediately or at short notice.
This contract is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to further their Planning career within a reputable team.
