My client is looking for an individual with prior paralegal experience preferably in-house and within general commercial law.

Description
Working with:
- Legal Counsel (International) and the Global Data Privacy Manager
- Wider Legal Team
- Global data privacy custodians
- Internal Auditors
- Other internal stakeholder functions including HR, IT, Finance, Marketing and E-commerce
- External legal counsel globally
- Third-party vendor representatives where appropriate
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
- The successful applicant's work will include (but not be limited to):
- Commercial and data privacy law:
- Requesting compliance certifications from all distributors, licensees and joint venture partners
- Assisting with distribution and license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, distributor renewals and terminations and data privacy agreements
- Managing a master spreadsheet of distributors and distributor due diligence
- Updating our record of processing of personal data and assisting with global data mapping
- Sending data privacy data protection impact assessments and processing assessments to relevant stakeholders and assisting with their completion
- Assisting with the management of data privacy requests from customers and employees
- Actioning any Google AdWords, requests or complaints and updating a master record
- Assisting with the contract signature process and ensuring contracts are saved within the relevant legal drives
- General:
- General office administration duties including post
- Drafting legal, regulatory and compliance documents e. termination letters, data privacy guidance and procedures
- Assisting with travel and organising meetings
- Conducting research, assisting with preparing presentations and bulletins
Profile
Technical Skills and Experience
- Prior paralegal experience either in-house or private practice, preferably in commercial or data privacy law
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Fluency in written and spoken English, multi-lingual capabilities welcomed
