The financial services business of a well-known international company.
THE ROLE
A maternity leave cover for the General Counsel, which will require the abiliy to oversee and manage a full remit of commercial legal, operational and transactional, managerial, regulatory and corporate governance matters.
Additionally, as a member of the Management Board, you will contribute to setting and driving the strategic business goals of the Company.
ABOUT YOU
Available from mid-June for c 16 months, you will be a commercial lawyer 10pqe+ with strong in-house experience ideally gained within a financial services business.
You will be able not only to head up the Legal Team in the GC's absence but also to assist with the development and articulation of the short-, medium- and long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with other functions and the implementation of organisation wide initiatives.
A good communicator able to work with people at levels, you will oversee maintenance of the Company's internal legal and regulatory policies and procedures and be able to draft, review and approve documentation relating to the governance, regulatory compliance and business operations of the Company, its governing boards, committees and affiliated corporate entities.
