The Role

3+ PQE Associate to join Top 50 Clinical Negligence team in Bristol

Following continued investment and expansion, an ambitious lawyer is needed to join one of the UK's leading team in the sector.

Acting for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, the MDU, independent providers, and insurers, the firm undertakes some of the more interesting and vital defendant work nationally.

As an Associate, you will draft pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, conduct face-to-face negotiations and mediation of claims, and prepare counter schedules.

Client contact is key to the success of the role and the broader team, as you will be engaging heavily with current and future commercial partners.

Owing to your high level of expertise, you will readily share your knowledge amongst the team, mentor those more junior and present yourself as a guru.

Requirements

• 3+ years PQE experience in Clinical Negligence, or from a transferable sector with the drive to specialise
• Commercially minded, and willing to engage in business development
• Keen to develop expertise
