The Role

NQ to 3 PQE Lawyer to join Top 50 Clinical Negligence team in Bristol

Following continued investment and expansion, an ambitious lawyer is needed to join one of the UK's leading team in the sector.

Acting for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, the MDU, independent providers, and insurers, the firm undertakes some of the more interesting and vital defendant work nationally.

You will draft pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, conduct face-to-face negotiations and mediation of claims, and prepare counter schedules. Learning daily, you will swiftly build on your existing expertise to work independently on increasingly complex matters.

Client contact is key to the success of the role and the broader team, as you will be engaging heavily with current and future commercial partners.

Mentoring will be given by industry experts, who are keen to see you work on a variety of cases to hone your abilities and support your ongoing development

Requirements

  • NQ to 3 years PQE in Clinical Negligence, PI, or litigation either claimant or defendant
  • Commercially minded, and willing to engage in business development
  • Keen to develop expertise
