Pensions Associate - NQ-2PQE

Pure Search are instructed by a leading international firm looking to grow their Tier 1 ranked Pensions practice.

The Company:

Our client is one of the leading international law firms with an incredibly strong and established brand in the market. The Pensions team have won numerous awards for their work advising trustees, employers, consultants and insurers and are looking for an outstanding NQ-2PQE Associate to join their team.

The team has a track record of working on some of the landmark pensions transactions in the market, working on over 75% of the largest deals in the UK in 2019. They are widely seen as the standout firm for pensions-related matters and the breadth of their experience, both in the UK and internationally, speaks volumes.

The Role:

The role will principally involve advising trustees and employees on all aspects of defined benefit and contribution pension schemes. The group benefits from a wealth of experience in respect of group pensions, master trusts, insurance products (buy-in and buy out arrangements) and longevity products.

This is a mixed contentious and non-contentious role, providing an ideal grounding for any aspiring junior associate looking to join one of the leading pensions practices in the market. The role will expose you to a wide range of advisory work, with a strong training and development culture to ensure associates are on a targeted track in their careers.

About You:

You will be a trainee solicitor approaching qualification in September 2021 or have already qualified at a leading ranked law firm for pensions matters.

You will have a clear and demonstrable interest in forging a long-term career in the pensions market, with aspirations of working on some of the highest value landmark transactions and disputes. You will be looking for an environment where you will be exposed to some of the best lawyers in the market, knowing that it will provide you with an excellent grounding for your personal career development.
