A popular top 20 UK law firm are seeking a Construction Disputes Solicitor to expand their Leeds team. This role is offered on a permanent basis with agile working available.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The successful candidate will advise on disputes arising from construction and engineering projects, including defending and bringing claims for delay disruption, loss and expense and defective workmanship materials and design. You will advise clients in relation to adjudications, arbitrations all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution and insurance related issues, so expect a varied caseload of all manner of contentious work.

Candidates are ideally to have experience defending and bringing proceedings in the TCC and under the Pre-Action Protocol for Construction and Engineering Disputes, adjudication, mediation and dispute avoidance and risk avoidance.

THE TEAM

You will be working with leading construction Partners in the Leeds office who provide the full range of dispute resolution and transactional advice. The team works closely with other teams to assist clients in delivering a seamless service encompassing everything from large complex international infrastructure projects to domestic construction contracts.

THE CANDIDATE

- 1+ PQE
- Experience working on construction disputes
- Strong academics and commercially adept
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
