An experienced Costs Draftsman is required to join a leading UK law firm and handle high value clinical negligence cases whilst supporting the Costs team.
Based in their Central London offices the Costs Draftsman will work on complex costs claims on multi track matters from cradle to grave. You will provide costs support for litigation lawyers across UK and International offices, handling all aspects of case management including schedules of costs, bills of costs/budgets and negotiating costs to settlement.
You will be in a current Costs Draftsman role, running your own caseloads and drafting budgets and attending detailed assessment hearings, preferably clinical negligence cases. You will be highly organised and able to draft points of dispute and response to 3rd parties, etc. You will have a first class knowledge of the CPR and legislation and have experience using Costmaster
This role will suit someone looking to move into a strong practice and build a career dealing with a high quality of work at a top tier firm.
Salary is 40-45k, based on full time working hours, plus a full benefits package also included.
