My client is a Manchester based law firm providing legal advice for individual .Due to expansion and growth they are seeking a Business Development Manager who would be required to be based in the North West of England

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing existing business relationships and identifying and securing new opportunities to enhance the Residential Conveyancing Dept. The job demands a good understanding of Business Development in general but specifically in relation to Conveyancing although training will be available.

As a leading conveyancing firm, my client have strong relationships with all types of residential developers including Registered Providers and regional & national housebuilders across England & Wales.

The main role of the BDM is to support the Head of Business Development in maintaining and expanding our relationship with clients and referrers ensuring that their needs and expectations are met through the delivery of a client focused and professional service.

Duties
§ Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
§ Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
§ Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
§ Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
§ Forecast and track key account metrics
§ Identify and grow opportunities
§ Produce and deliver presentations to clients/potential clients
§ Work closely with Fee Earners in order to address any client issues or concerns Essential Skills
§ At least 2 years' experience working in a client focused role
§ Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
§ Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
§ Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
§ Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
§ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
§ Willing to Travel across sites throughout the North of England
