THE ROLE
A 12-month fixed term contract, full or part time, for a corporate lawyer looking for something different in a role away from fee earning.
The firm seeks a Corporate Work Allocation Manager whose task it will be to optimise the allocation of work based on projected workflows and Associate/Trainee utilisation, whilst respecting individual work type preferences and issues/concerns.
Building strong relationships with Corporate Partners, Group and Deputy Heads, as well as Associates, you will have the ability to develop a clear sense of individual work type preference and to ensure clear lines of communication are open and maintained.
You will proactively manage the current work allocation technology, tools and processes, ensuring they are maintained and accurate.
ABOUT YOU
A private practice corporate lawyer with outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, you will have the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Able to understand and analyse utilisation data and make resourcing decisions based on data and factoring non-data driven information on staff where relevant, you will work to tight deadlines and have a strong client focus.
Experience in work allocation or resource management, ideally within a large professional services or legal environment along with excellent IT skills/experience working with resource management software highly desirable.
