Company Background
At Content+Cloud we help our clients to succeed and to transform the way their businesses operate, the way their users work, and provide them with flexible and secure platforms with which to do it.
Our portfolio of Professional and Managed Services enables our clients to truly leverage the power of Microsoft’s three clouds: Microsoft 365, Azure and Dynamics 365.
As our reputation has grown over the years, we’ve been able to attract exceptionally talented individuals. Whether they are a world-renowned technology specialist or a highly skilled member of a 24/7support team, all our people are driven by a desire to deliver success for our clients.
The Role
To support our growth across the Content+Cloud Group, we are seeking to recruit an In-house counsel of 1 to 3 years PQE to be based out of one of our UK offices (please note: we are happy to consider applications from individuals who fall outside this PQE range who have the relevant experience).
This role will be predominantly focused on the drafting and negotiating of general commercial contracts and IT/Technology related agreements and services.
Location and Environment
This role can be based out of either our London, Manchester or Milton Keynes offices and we are happy to consider different flexible working arrangements (please note we are currently working remotely in line with government guidelines).
At Content+Cloud we look for a particular kind of person. Someone who likes nothing better than helping others to achieve their goals. Someone who is driven by a desire to go the extra mile for our clients, focusing on the little things that make a big difference. Someone who loves technology, not for its own sake, but for what it can deliver – in terms of organisation.
This is the real Content+Cloud difference: the mindset of our people.
We see every client challenge as an opportunity for fresh thinking, and every client journey as an adventure.
Required Skills and Capabilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of:
- Review and drafting of Non-Disclosure Agreements;
- Review and drafting of commercial and IT outsourcing contracts including supplier terms and conditions, customer terms and conditions, variation agreements and partnership agreements;
- Assisting with the preparation of other ad-hoc legal paperwork;
- Assisting the sales and accounts team with tender responses and ad-hoc customer contractual queries from time to time;
- Assist the company client coordinator teams in the preparation of customer order forms, customer statement of works and terms and conditions;
- Assist the legal and procurement teams with the maintenance of supplier contracts database and ad-hoc supplier contractual questions and contract reviews;
- Assist and help with a wide range of legal matters such as compliance (including data protection matters), company secretary, property and more.
Given our fast-paced environment and growth trajectory, we are looking for individuals with the ability to apply legal rigour and good practice with commercial sensibility. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a commercial outlook to your work. The role encompasses establishing and enforcing internal legal process and structure. If you are a team player, but able to work independently and a self-starter with a desire to be part of a lively, entrepreneurial environment, then Content+Cloud is right for you.
Previous experience working in-house in a commercial contracts role ideally within the technology sector would be desirable although not essential.
