Disputes Associate - 2-5PQE - Litigation Boutique

Pure Search are exclusively instructed by a fast-growing City-based litigation boutique, who are looking to add to their team at 2-5PQE.

Joining a relatively small and collegiate disputes team, you will be joining a boutique who are experiencing an exciting period of growth where you will have the opportunity not only to play a key role in client matters day-to-day, but also have a genuine impact on the future development of the firm.

Our client has a strong reputation acting for a high-profile range of clients including musicians, broadcasters, restaurateurs, banks, high-net-worth individuals, creditors, debtors and financial institutions.

The Role:

This represents a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate with experience at a ranked City or West End disputes practice to join a practice where they will be afforded high levels of responsibility from day 1.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising on breach of contract claims and identifying strategies for resolution and compensation;
• Assisting clients with recovering losses suffered by companies and individuals;
• Advising in respect of a range of negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation claims;
• Advising in respect of defamation and reputation management claims across the film, TV, music, sport and hospitality sectors;
• Advising on contentious construction and real estate matters;
• Working with directors and shareholders to recover losses, avoid disputes and damage to profitability and advise across the entirety of the insolvency process.

In addition, there will be significant scope for business development from day 1 with bonuses linked in an open and transparent way to ones networking activities.

About You:

You will be an enterprising junior associate with at least two years post-qualified experience, looking to join a firm where you will feel high levels of autonomy, responsibility and freedom to develop your own brand and following in the market.

You may be at a stage in your career where you have developed strong disputes experience but are looking for something a bit different and would welcome the opportunity to have a greater say over how the firm as a whole develops and grows over the coming years.
