Mid-Level Legal Counsel role - Oil & Gas Services Business (Surrey)

Client Details

Our Client is one of the largest Oil & Gas Services Businesses in the world which contracts and provides services to some of the worlds best know energy brands.

Description

The responsiblities with this role include, but are not limited to:

• Providing commercial legal advice to the business on a day to day basis, and give additional support to other units as required for other legal issues.
• Provide legal advice on and negotiate tenders and sales agreements, including data acquisition, licensing and processing agreements.
• Provide legal advice in relation to licenses and contracts with governmental agencies within the EU region
• Provide legal advice and support on regulatory and compliance matters.

You will work on legal matters at all levels (please note, routine lower level work is carried out by the Procurement function of this organisation)

Profile

The successful candidate is likely to be a 4+ PQE, UK or Common Law Qualified Solicitor

They will ideally have some oil & gas services experience, but this is not mandatory.

The candidate will need to have a good generalist with strong contract review/negotiation skills.

Please note the salary on offer for this position is commensurate with the PQE range identified above.
