Senior Legal Counsel - Global Packaging Manufacturer - UK, France or Germany
Client Details
Our Client is a Packaging Manufacturer with sites and offices throughout the world
Description
The responsibilites with this role will be to provide senior level legal support of and partnership across all divisions of the organisation in Europe. Senior Legal Counsel will:
- handle contract, lease, and NDA reviews and negotiations;
- assist with a complete corporate filings and maintenance; and
- advise on anti-trust analysis, GDPR oversight and commercial disputes.
In addition the responsibilities include collaboration with members of the Legal Team to:
- implement a global framework for the delivery of legal services to support the global business;
- develop a best in class team which partners with the business in a timely and effective way to drive profitability, business growth, and success;
- engage in continuous learning of the business through formal and self-directed activities;
- identify, develop and implement forms and processes to improve the efficiency of handling internal legal matters; and
- partner and communicate with all levels of the business, including the executive staff.
The Senior Legal Counsel will Identify and analyse risk and communicate the same and mitigation activities to the appropriate levels of the business. They will also assist in the management of outside counsel who are handling legal matters to ensure overall quality and value of legal services
Profile
The successful candidate will be a European qualified lawyer, preferably qualified in France, Germany or Great Britain as this is where the organisation's major manufacturing sites are. The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience within a law firm and/or corporate in-house setting with demonstrated excellence and experience handling contracts, real estate, data privacy, and other commercial matters.
