Directories-listed Residential Conveyancing department in London is seeking to recruit two Residential Conveyancing lawyers – one of 0 to 1 and the other of 2 or more years’ PQE. The team provides clients with prompt, practical advice covering all aspects of residential property including conveyancing and the financing (both on acquisition and refinancing) of such properties. Many of the team's transactions are complex, involve tax and structuring advice, bespoke finance arrangement and overseas jurisdictions. They act for high-net-worth individuals and a number of established and high profile urban and rural estate clients and provide a highly organised, efficient and cost-effective service to their existing clients. The successful candidates will assist the team with transactional assistance alongside the management of large urban and rural estates. Responsibilities will include: • Direct dealing with important clients of the firm, including attending and contributing in client meetings as well as direct liaison with clients and their agents via telephone and email • Responsibility for own files and caseload • Management work for urban and rural estate landlords holding mixed use portfolios comprising of retail, office residential and other properties • Sales and purchases of residential properties (both freehold and leasehold) with an element of financing • Drafting letters/ emails as part of a transaction or when giving advice to clients • Drafting / negotiating transaction documents • Preparation of SDLT forms and registrations.

If you are already qualified you will currently specialise in Residential Conveyancing law or at least undertake Conveyancing matters a spart of your overall caseload. Newly-qualified lawyers will have undertaken a seat in Residential Conveyancing law.
