Regulatory (Health Safety & Environment) Solicitor/Barrister 2 + years’ PQE/Call ESSEX

Commercial law firm in Essex is seeking to recruit a Regulatory (Health Safety & Environment) Solicitor/Barrister of 2 or more years’ PQE/Call. The primary focus will be on Health & Safety and Environmental matters but the successful candidate may also cover other areas such as Product Safety or Food Law from time to time. Candidates will have good technical and analytical skills across contractual drafting, due diligence and providing regulatory and strategic advice. You will have a desire to build client relationships and, over time, develop your own client network and so you must have an enthusiasm for business development and possess strong interpersonal skills. Qualified Solicitors and Barristers must have at least some experience of dealing with matters in this area of law and have a desire to specialise in this sort of work. If you are a newly-qualified solicitor you will ideally have undertaken a seat in Regulatory law during your training and if you are a newly-qualified Barrister, you will ideally have encountered one or two Regulatory matters during your pupillage.
