Real Estate Finance Paralegal

An award-winning full-service law firm are seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join their growing Real Estate Finance department based in their vibrant Manchester City Centre offices. 

The Role: 

The successful candidate will be supporting the supervising Fee Earner and team within the Real Estate Finance department. The duties: 

·         Drafting security documentation for checking by the Fee Earner  

·         Making and receiving calls to clients and third parties involved in the transaction 

·         Drafting mortgage reports under the supervision of your supervising Fee Earner 

·         Responding promptly to requests for updates from clients, agents, brokers and introducers 

·         Updating introducer / update portals as required 

·         Ordering documents from HMLR

·         Ordering bankruptcy searches, priority searches and company searches 

·         Drafting and submitting MR01’s 

·         Preparing files for completion 

·         Ealing with files at completion stage, preparing outgoing TT forms for checking and preparing files to give to post completion 

·         Undertaking Lawyer Checker and Legalinx searches 

·         Ensuring the case management system is fully up to date 

·         Undertaking any specific training as required 

·         Ensuring clients and introducers always receive the best possible service 

·         Using own initiative to progress files with the limits of own ability
