French speaking Contracts Advisor

Venn Group are delighted to be working with a global specialist risk based in Central London who are urgently recruiting for French speaking Contracts Advisors on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising the business, operating with a high degree of autonomy, in relation to the whole spectrum of commercial contracting needs to support the business and their consultancy services.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with members of the Legal, Risk and Compliance team to provide practical advice in relation to all aspects of agreeing contracts terms with clients and suppliers, guidance and support on contract terms and legal issues including legal obligations and risks.

You will require credible, hands on, in-house experience working in a comparable role in a commercial organisation with excellent contract drafting with significant exposure to a range of negotiated contractual positions concerning core areas such as: payment terms, liability caps, liquidated damages, confidentiality, IP, data protection, anti-bribery, warranties, indemnities, guarantees and force majeure.

Language skills are key and the ability to speak and conduct contractual negotiations in French is paramount.

A background in law will be essential including any legal training to enable a good understanding of legal principles. In addition, legal or commercial contract management experience in the Middle East and Africa would be highly advantageous.
