Pensions Lawyer

We are working with one of the largest and most highly regarded specialist Pensions practices in the UK, with top tier rankings in both Chambers and the Legal 500 who are keen to add a talented Pensions lawyer to their Manchester office.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who has 0 to 5 years' PQE with experience gained from a leading regional or city firm in their pensions or pensions litigation practice.

Their award-winning pensions team is experienced in advising trustees and employers on all aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes, and has considerable experience advising on group pensions, master trusts, insurance products (including buy-in and buy-out arrangements), longevity products and other structures.

The team also incorporates a market-leading pensions litigation practice which covers High Court proceedings and Pensions Ombudsman complaints, acting for pension providers as well as scheme trustees.

You'll be involved in a wide range of high-quality advisory and transactional work; including supporting the corporate practice on the pensions aspects of their deals, as well as pensions litigation.

Due to the size of the team there is an opportunity to specialise in contentious or non-contentious pensions law, or indeed a mix.

You will be commercially aware and enjoy being involved in business development, meeting clients and networking.
