One of our London based Law Firm clients is looking for a software developer to join their IT function on a permanent, full time basis. This will be a very important role and will involve the support and improvement of the business’s overall functions, procedure, and applications. As well as consistently developing and improving Firm’s software the role will also involve assisting with the support of the wider IT team when needed. The role will involve software planning, installations, upgrade scheduling and general maintenance to ensure all project targets are met.

The successful candidate must be familiar with all core applications systems management such as (but not limited to) Elite 3E (PMS), Work 10 (DMS), Interaction (CRM) and Intapptime, K2 development and workflow process design and development including integrations (Intapp integrate) and reports design and development and be familiar with the change and release management of applications, systems upgrades and reports. Further to these systems familiarity with; skilled in Power BI report / dashboard development and experience of integrating PowerBI with a variety of 3rd party systems; experience in developing solutions in Microsoft 365 (ideally PowerApps, Power Automate and SharePoint) and design and implementation of Power Platform solutions, taking them through rapid prototyping through to production ready; proficient in azure and M365 PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Windows Server 12, 16 and 19; hands-on experience with a strong background in dealing with database design, analysis and development of Microsoft T-SQL, MySQL, SSRS, Data Warehouses and ETL; solid understanding and experience of RESTful service, cloud native API’s using frameworks such as iManage work 10, 3E and M365 etc. Fluency in at least one the more common programming/scripting languages would be advantageous, e.g., C#, Python or JavaScript. Previous use of Elite 3E IDE and OQL, EDG Design Gallery is desirable along with technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.

The candidate must have an understanding of a partnership firm and good understanding of business acumen, being able to relay technical details to non-technical members of staff and create accurate and digestible reports and data to feedback to management. Someone who is well organised, presented, and able to communicate effectively would be an ideal candidate. This is a full time Monday to Friday position, paying up to £50,000.
