This role will see you act as Head of Department and deal with the expansion of the team as well as working with the existing client base in place.

There is an existing Solicitor dealing with Employment matters which is primarily focused on corporate support & employment tribunal work however you will be expected deal with a real mix of work that includes the full range of quality employment advice exclusively for respondents. There is a mix of both contentious & non-contentious work in place, with matters consisting of: review of contracts, policies and procedures, advising on termination of employment, drafting settlement agreements, providing corporate support on commercial agreements & corporate transactions, as well as employment tribunal representation.  Other aspects of this role will include support and training to clients, business development and developing new initiatives such as seminars, workshops and tenders for new work.

This is a dynamic practice so ideally you will have a background from a similar commercial practice and be able to provide evidence of dealing with quality work. As this is a Partner opportunity ideally you will be able to bring a following of work to show your credibility as an experienced lawyer, however any offer of employment will not be based on your following as this will purely supplement the work already in place.

As this is a senior position salary & package will purely be based on your experience level, so expected salary will be in the region of £60,000 - £90,000 however this can be extended for the right candidate who can demonstrate a successful record. Flexible working is also provided as is remote working, so you will not be tied down by a stuffy commercial environment and you will have the autonomy you need to implement your thoughts & plans to develop your own team.

This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Employment Lawyer who is seeking a blank canvas to implement their own ideas, in a relaxed working environment. For further information on this opportunity please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal for a confidential chat.
