Qualifications
- University degree (any discipline)
Experience
- Experience with the Solicitor qualification process will be highly valued, whether the candidate qualified themselves, or otherwise managed the process.
- One or more of the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in a recruitment/talent or learning and development capacity.
- 2+ year of CSR/D&I experience
- Third sector knowledge or experience (pro bono/volunteering considered)

Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a leader within SEO London, this Programme Manager role plays an important part in managing the delivery of our law programmes - the Corporate Law Programme and City Solicitors Horizons (CSH) programme - and the overall growth strategy. The Programme Manager directly line manages a team of Programme Coordinators, who are each responsible for programme delivery across our partner law firms, corporates and our candidate relationships.
The role includes the following duties and responsibilities:
Firm and External Stakeholder Relations
- Strategic lead for Corporate Law and City Solicitors Horizons (CSH) firm relations
- Ensuring excellent programme management from Programme Co-ordinators
- Setting KPIs and monitoring outputs to ensure programme delivery is on track
- Business development of partner firm relationships.
- Renewal of existing partnerships and working with the SEO CEO to develop and pitch new partnerships
- Tracking current Corporate Law and CSH firm information including their diversity aims, their internal targets and their recruitment process changes
Candidate Sourcing and Management
- Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and development of new candidates for each academic year
- Alongside the Campus Lead, building on existing university partnerships, identifying new ways to increase candidate recruitment
- Overseeing the screening, assessing and training the Corporate Law class
Events and Training
- Corporate Law event logistics support and supervision
- Organising mentor/mentee information and allocations for CSH
- Co-ordinating work experience for CSH candidates
Ad-hoc projects
- Entrepreneurship and fresh ideas encouraged
Flexibility
In order to deliver the SEO London Corporate Law Programme effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties will, however, fall within the scope of the role.
