Family Solicitor

A York based law firm is looking to add to its family department by appointing a solicitor to the team. Our client is flexible regarding PQE and welcomes all applications. 

You will be responsible for providing legal advice, assistance and representation to clients in:

• Divorce
• Private law children
• Financial Remedy
• Cohabitee/unmarried disputes

Along with providing legal advice and running your own caseload, you will proactively work with the department head, the marketing manager and colleagues with generating new business by attending networking events. 

To be successful, you will:

• Be capable of working independently, managing your own caseload as well as mentoring junior members of staff
• Display excellent client care and organisational skills, and you will work well under pressure
• Have a proven record of hitting financial targets
