My client is a regional Legal 500 firm with a growing national footprint that is widely regarded as a leading light in providing high quality legal services to individuals, communities, businesses, charities and organisations. They currently have an opportunity within their Housing Management team for a Senior Lawyer, offering the prospect of advising clients such as private registered providers of social housing, local authorities and charities and other organisations, on cutting edge social projects.
Your remit would be to advise on a varied caseload of Housing matters, drafting and reviewing documents and agreements, advising Landlords on compliance matters, rent and service charges and a high degree of client contact through seminars/training sessions and networking events, enabling you to become embedded in the sector and have a genuine impact on the front-line. The firm is noted for its collaborative approach to work, and there is a high degree of overlap across the firm so you will also build strong relationships with other teams.
Pivotal to success in the role will be a strong background in housing management and property law. The role will afford you the opportunity to line manage other fee earners, which will contribute towards your career progression prospects. The firm puts a high emphasis on employees sharing a common social purpose and a sense of wanting to make a positive contribution to the businesses and individuals that they provide advice to.
