Social Care and Litigation Paralegal

The Role:

My client, an established specialist law firm, are currently looking for a Paralegal to join their successful team in Cambridgeshire. The purpose of this Paralegal role is to assist the team, taking on a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities such as acting as a point of contact, taking instructions and providing advice, carrying out research, drafting documents and liaising with witnesses.

In addition, you will manage a caseload of tribunal cases, as well as providing cover and support to other Paralegals in the team where required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will have a background of working in a legal practice, experienced in drafting pleadings and witness statements. You will have sound knowledge of tribunal procedures and the ability to conduct legal research and speak in public.

Excellent communication skills are required to be successful in this role, both verbally and written. You will demonstrate an ability to work under your own initiative and problem-solve, as well as meeting tight deadlines and being able to manage competing priorities.
