Contentious Probate Legal Advisor - Solicitor  / Legal Executive

Our client is a leading Top 200 ranked UK law firm with an office network across the South West of England. They are looking for a 2-4 year PQE solicitor or legal executive to join their busy Contentious Probate team based in our Taunton office.  Candidates with relevant experience outside of the preferred PQE are encouraged to apply.

Working with minimal supervision, you will be assisting the Team Leader with contentious Will and Probate claims.  Ideally, you will have experience in Contentious Probate or at the very least a litigation background with some exposure to Contentious Probate work.    An understanding of Wills, Trusts and Estate Administration would be helpful although not essential. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Dealing with claims under the Inheritance Act
• Claims challenging the validity of a Will
• Handling Executor and Trustees disputes

You will need to demonstrate a real passion for this area of work and strong commerciality.  Good client relationship and people skills will be essential.
