General Banking Lawyer - 6mths - £750-850 per day

Global investment bank with growing EMEA operation require an experienced banking lawyer to cover a 6 month period of maternity leave, starting in July.

Working as part of a small team, you will enjoy a broad role covering a variety of advisory, transaction and regulatory matters including:

• Handling terms of business and onboarding documentation
• M&A advisory work with the investment banking division
• Advising on cross-border licensing matters
• Providing legal support to the corporate banking team
• Wide-ranging capital markets advisory work
• Advising on the regulatory issues related to new business initiatives.

The role requires a smart, commercially-minded general banking lawyer who is comfortable working across a variety of matters ranging from complex high-value transactions, right through to simple, routine documentation. No two days will ever be the same. The client believes that at least 8 years' PQE would be required to successfully undertake the role but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. Lawyers with significantly more experience than that are also encouraged to apply.

You must be immediately available and although the role will be predominantly remote-working, you need to be based in the UK.
