Our client, a City firm in the regions is seeking to recruit a property litigation lawyer to join their well known team. This is an ideal opportunity to gain some experience in a city focussed firm that is top legal 500 in the regions. Work will include:

• Landlord and tenant disputes, including break notices, claims relating to breaches of lease covenants, including unauthorised assignments, sub-lettings and alterations, dilapidations, disputes relating to the interpretation of leases and service charge disputes
• Development disputes including options and rights to light claims and other contractual disputes relating to commercial and residential property
• Insolvency matters with a property angle, including tenant insolvency
• Issues around land ownership including adverse possession claims, boundary disputes, compulsory purchase, co-ownership disputes and dealing with squatters
• Public and private rights over land including restrictive covenants, rights of way and other easements and rights of common (including town and village green applications)
• Professional negligence involving property professionals

To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record of dealing with a mix property litigation caseload from a respected regional or City firm. The ability to hit the ground running is required.
