Our client is a Legal 500 firm based in Reading, Berkshire who is seeking solicitors 2+ yrs PQE to join the expanding Employment team.
The firm is offering work which will involve dealing with a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious issues acting for some claimant but mostly respondent clients.
It is essential that you must have excellent experience of transfer of undertakings/project work, experience of managing a team and be someone capable of leading unsupervised transaction/TUPE type of work.
The role will involve giving day-to-day advice on disciplinary and grievances, managing sickness absence, TUPE transfers and conducting redundancy programmes and restrictions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years experience ideally from a recognised London or regional practice, good contract employment law skills and knowledge, and a strong academic record (2.1 degree is a minimum requirement).
An interest marketing and business development is key and also experience in handling business visas for clients would be an advantage.
