Dynamic and vibrant law firm based in the heart of the city is seeking a Paralegal to join their Real Estate Finance Team. It’s a varied role that will include:-
- Drafting and amending agreements
- Looking after the Condition Precedent process updating CP tables and chasing up the various parties for input
- Drafting board minutes, shareholders resolutions, director’s certificates, release documents
- Registering security/releases at Companies House
- Handling execution of documents by banks and borrowers and other parties
They are looking for someone ideally with some property finance experience (but would meet with people that have corporate finance experience and are looking to transition to property finance). Ideally the person would have some property background too, although that’s not essential. Candidates don’t necessarily need have done the LPC but need to have done a law degree or GDL.
The job will involve working with partners and liaising with clients and the other side’s lawyers daily, so the right applicant will need to be confident on the telephone and face to face.
