IT/Tech Solicitor 3-7 PQE

Client Details

A well-known global business located in Reading.

Description

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of diverse range of commercial contracts including, but not limited to, software licences, software development agreements, consultancy agreements, procurement and sale agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• To provide legal advice including and not limited to general commercial issues, corporate, anti-trust, intellectual property rights, data privacy, consumer law and property.

• Providing strategic support to senior management, as required.

• Where required, the creation and delivery of training to the business on legal topics.

• Where required, supporting the Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer with their duties.

  Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
• Provide training on Legal topics to the wider business.

• To understand and assist in the delivery of the targets and objectives of the business

• Contribute to the team and create the right environment to ensure team and individual development takes place

Profile

ESSENTIAL

• Currently practicing, qualified solicitor in England and Wales with around 3-7 years PQE
• Commercial contracts experience
• IT/Tech experience
• Strong drafting skills
• Consistent in approach
• Commercially astute
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong contract negotiation skills
• Ability to work on own initiative

DESIRABLE

• Previous In house experience (incl. on secondment)
• Strong Private Practice experience
